Starts at North Common Community Garden

Bring your bicycle and take a self-guided tour of Lowell’s farms, gardens, and urban agricultural spaces! Join Mill City Grows and The Bike Connector at North Common Community Garden and start your bicycle journey. We’ll even have free snacks from Golden Girl Granola to give you an energy boost before your ride! (Available while supplies last)
Pick up your bicycle route maps! Our bicycle route maps were created for different cycling abilities — pick up your favorite and visit these amazing sites:
> Rist Urban Agriculture Greenhouse & Farm at UMass Lowell’s East Campus
> Stoklosa Middle School Garden (560 Broadway Street)
> Red Antler Apothecary Herbal Farm at Mill No. 5 (250 Middlesex Street)
PLUS other urban agricultural spaces in the city
Give your bicycle a tune-up! Meet volunteers from The Bike Connector who will be on hand to help with basic tune-ups and bicycle repairs. Make sure your tires are filled and brakes are in working order before your bike ride.
Have fun and bike safely!
All our bicycle tours are self-guided and bikes are not provided. Always wear a helmet and stay on marked city bike lanes when visible.
Sincere thanks
