Grow, Eat, and Learn with Mill City Grows

Winter/Spring Indoor Mobile Farmers Markets
Through April 10

Purchase fresh, seasonal fruits, veggies, and pantry goods at our Mill City Grows Indoor Mobile Farmers Markets! Indoor markets currently take place at UMass Lowell University Crossing and at the Lowell Senior Center. We welcome SNAP/EBT and HIP.

Join Chef Kelcy at MCG’s ROOT Kitchen and Community Space as she showcases fresh recipes, delicious ingredients, and cooking tips! Chef Kelcy will host a Saturday morning series of cooking demonstrations through October 2025. All her events are free and open to the public. Space is limited, registration is required.

10th Annual Community Seed Swap
Saturday, March 22  |  11am – 1pm

Bring your extra seeds or garden favorites to our Annual Seed Swap. MCG will take seeds in advance of the event or you can bring them to the Seed Swap. You do not need to bring seeds to attend our event! MCG’s Annual Seed Swap is free and open to the public.

MCG Supper Club
Thursday, March 27  |  6:30pm – 8pm

The Mill City Grows Supper Club invites you to our ROOT Community Space to enjoy a home cooked meal by a member of our community. Your Meal Host for March is Eleni Zohdi! Free and open to the public. Space is limited, reservations are required.

Annual Spring Plant Sale
Saturday, May 24  |  10am – 2pm

Purchase locally grown fruit, veggie, and herb plants for your home, school, or community garden PLUS enjoy a Farmers Market showcasing fresh produce from the Mill City Grows Mobile Market! MCG’s Annual Spring Plant Sale is free and open to the public.

Annual Harvest Day at the Farm
Saturday, September 13  |  1pm – 4pm

Celebrate the harvest season with Mill City Grows at our beautiful Big Urban Farm in Lowell’s Pawtucketville neighborhood. Enjoy farm tours, live music, kids activities, and more! MCG’s Annual Harvest Day at the Farm is free and open to the public.
